Felix Ratheb has been the chief executive of Sea Harvest Group since December 2013 and has worked in the fishing and food industry since 2003. Sea Harvest is one of the largest vertically integrated fishing companies in South Africa and a leading food retail brand with a presence in 2400 supermarkets, employing more than 2500 people with a strong presence in Australia for over 50 years. Mr Ratheb completed his BSc Engineering degree (Hons) in 1995 at Wits University and holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town. He is an executive director on the board of Sea Harvest and non-executive director of Seavuna. Mr Ratheb is also an independent trustee on the MSC Board of Trustees in the UK, where the MSC is the largest eco-labelling and sustainability program for fish stocks globally. He is also on the executive team and board of the Groundfish Forum, the largest whitefish conference globally.
