Emma Woolaston has extensive experience in strategy, business development, operations and governance during her 20 years in local government, management consulting and corporate banking roles.
Prior to becoming the director of corporate services at the City of Subiaco in February 2023, Ms Woolaston was the director of corporate and organisational development at Towong Shire Council in Victoria, where she led their corporate functions including governance, human resources, finance, IT, customer service and communications. She had also spent 11 years at the Commonwealth Bank in Sydney, and 4 years as a strategy consultant of financial services at Accenture.
Ms Woolaston holds a Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University where she was awarded the University Medal in Mathematics, and a Diploma of Financial Markets in Foreign Exchange from the Australian Financial Markets Association.
