Elizabeth Nicholls

Educated by the Sisters of Mercy in Warrnambool Victoria, Sr Elizabeth Nicholls completed a Diploma of Teaching (Primary) and spent 5 years teaching in Warrnambool before joining the Sisters of Mercy (Melbourne) in 1985. After Formation, she spent 20 years in Primary Education, working in 7 different schools across Victoria in classroom and principal positions. During that time, Sr Elizabeth completed further studies in Religious Education, Special Education and Information Management (Teacher-Librarianship) as well as serving on many Parish and school committees. Moving to Perth in 2008, she worked part-time in Pastoral Care at St Kieran Primary School in Tuart Hill and at St Catherine's House of Hospitality in Tuart Hill, a ministry of the Sisters of Mercy. Sr Elizabeth is now acting manager of St Catherine's House of Hospitality and is actively involved in St Denis Parish in Joondana.
