Edward Greissing Jr is a strategic advisor and Senior Fellow with the Milken Institute. He has worked with global governments addressing critical health and economic policy issues including health innovation, chronic disease prevention, mental health, food and nutrition, pandemics and health emergencies, as well as affordable access and reimbursement.
Mr Greissing was executive director of the Center of Public Health at the Milken Institute. His work with global business and government leaders, investors, philanthropy, NGOs, and academic thought leaders improves health outcomes for individuals and communities everywhere. Prior to Milken Institute, he was a member of the executive committee, global leadership team and senior vice president of corporate affairs at Sanofi where he led a wide range of public affairs and global corporate affairs teams, new product launches and a freshness program for life cycle management. Mr Greissing was also president and chief executive of Red Line Associates, a consulting firm with clients from the biopharmaceutical, device, food service, and financial industries.
Before entering the industry in 1978, Mr Greissing was on the US Senate Intelligence Committee staff, served in the United States Army, and was a military policeman assigned to the Honor Detail at Fort Myer at Arlington Cemetery.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The College of the Holy Cross, and a Master of Arts in Congressional Studies and Politics from The Catholic University of America.
