Ebony Sweetnam has been a consultant in the intellectual property law division at Bennett + Co since September 2019. She was admitted as a lawyer in 2004 and has extensive experience in the areas of corporate governance, equity raisings, complex commercial agreements, consumer law matters and managed investments. Ms Sweetnam has worked at a number of major Australian and international law firms, and spent 6 years as in-house counsel at HBF Health prior to joining Bennett + Co. Ms Sweetnam specialises in intellectual property and technology law, and advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters relating to trademarks, copyright and patents as well as passing off, licensing and confidential information. She also has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a broad range of intellectual property-based agreements including those relating to sponsorship, non-disclosure and technology licensing.
