Don Hammarquist

Don Hammarquist OAM is the proprietor and operator of Mt Augustus Station, Dooley Downs Station and the Mt Augustus Tourist Park.

He is a councillor and president at the Shire of Upper Gascoyne, and a member of the Eastern Gascoyne Race Club. He is also a member on numerous committees in the Gascoyne region.

In 2019, Mr Hammarquist was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to local government and to the community of the Upper Gascoyne.
