Dominic Stevens was an independent non-executive director of ASX from December 2013 until his appointment as managing director & chief executive in August 2016. Mr Stevens has over 30 years of experience in financial markets. Prior to ASX, he was chief executive of Challenger from 2008 to 2012, deputy chief executive and head of capital, risk and strategy. Prior to joining Challenger in 2003, Mr Stevens held senior positions during a long career at Bankers Trust Australia where he had responsibility for the Australian derivatives, global metals and agricultural commodity derivatives businesses. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr. Stevens received a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and Finance from University of New South Wales.
