Dick Stoneburner

Richard Stoneburner has over 35 years of experience in petroleum geology, and a director of several oil and gas exploration and production companies.
He was the co-founder, president and chief operating officer of Petrohawk Energy Corporation and president of North America unconventional production division of BHP Billiton Petroleum. Prior to co-founding Petrohawk, Mr Stoneburner was vice president of exploration at 3Tec Energy Corporation, and had worked for several E&P companies including Hugoton Energy Corporation, W/E Energy Company, Stoneburner Exploration and Texas Oil & Gas.
Mr Stoneburner was also a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist's Distinguished Lecturer Series.
