Des Halsted
Chief Financial Officer, Company Secretary since 2016 / Coogee
Des Halsted was appointed chief financial officer of Coogee in November 2015, and joined the board in August 2016 as finance director and company secretary. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting, a Graduate Certificate in Professional Accounting, and is a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and the Institute of Company Directors. Prior to his appointment at Coogee, Mr Halsted spent 7 years as the commercial manager of the Chlor Alkali business. He joined Coogee in July 2004 as the corporate accountant for the Chlor Alkali business. Prior to 2004 he was involved in financial management roles, primarily in the manufacturing and wholesale sectors.
