Dennis Cometti is one of the best-known and most respected sportscasters in Australia. In a career with the Channel 7 Network, he was Seven’s swimming commentator at the Barcelona, Atlanta and Sydney Olympics Games as well as the 1998 World Swimming Championships in Perth. He has ‘called’ more Australian Olympic Gold Medals than any other Australian broadcaster in the Television era. Mr Cometti has a wealth of sporting experience and has broadcast football, basketball, hockey, boxing, athletics, equestrian and cricket. His passion though, is football, having coached and played at the highest level.
