Denise Bowen has over 40 years of experience supporting the health and aged care sector as a nurse, midwife, health administrator and as a solicitor with HBA Legal. She has worked within the public health sector including as manager of mediation and legal support services at the Child & Adolescent Health Service and Women & Newborn Health Service. Ms Bowen also has extensive experience in the management of civil claims, FOI requests, coronial matters, refusal of treatment matters, as well as significant experience in the management of catastrophic injuries claims and dispute resolution in metropolitan and regional WA. She is an accredited mediator.
Ms Bowen has a Diploma of Nursing, Masters and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Administration, Certificate in Health Economics, Bachelor of Applied Science, and a Juris Doctor from Notre Dame University. She was admitted to legal practice in 2010.
