Delwyn Everard is an intellectual property lawyer and arts advocate. She spent a decade working at Australia’s community legal centre for the arts, the Arts Law Centre, advising artists and arts organisations across all art forms.
Ms Everard also has extensive experience working in remote and regional Australia with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community arts organisations and artists.
Ms Everard has served on a number of not-for-profit boards including over six years on the board of the Australian Art Events Foundation which produces Art Month Sydney contemporary arts festival. She has been a member of the advisory committee of the John Curtin Gallery, board member of The Lester Inc which delivers an annual portrait prize, and board member of The Farm Margaret River which offers annual residencies to artists whose practice is connected to place and environment. Ms Everard will join the board of Perth Festival in April 2023.
