Dehlia Goundrey has over 16 years' professional experience in environmental management, sustainability, environmental impact assessment and project management within the transport, infrastructure, urban planning, resource and government sectors, both locally and internationally. Ms Goundrey specialises in the management, direction and delivery of environmental management and assessment projects across a broad spectrum of disciplines. She is also experienced in strategic evaluation and planning, sustainability in design and engineering innovation. Prior to joining Strategen Environmental in 2012, Ms Goundrey was a principal consultant and the sustainability and climate change manager for Worley Parsons Western Australia, assisting resource and energy organisations to manage business risks, optimise engineering design to ultimately improve project performance throughout the project life. In the United Kingdom, Ms Goundrey held the role of associate director with Halcrow Group where she led large multi-disciplinary projects integrating highway engineering design, planning and environmental management for two government transport engineering and design consulting panel contracts. She was also responsible for managing the corporate delivery of professional environmental consulting services for two national Highways Agency (executive agency responsible for the English strategic road network) contracts over 3 years.
