Dean Hemmingsen joined NKH Business Advisors & Accountants in 2011 and assists businesses with decision making using financial information, accounting software selection and advice, business planning and execution of those plans, plus accounting and tax compliance.
Mr Hemmingsen has over 10 years of experience in global tax, accounting and business advisory in New Zealand, UK and Australia. Prior to settling in Australia, he was a tax executive for one of the largest companies on the FTSE in London and oversaw corporate tax compliance for the UK group. Mr Hemmingsen has also worked for two of the Big 4 accounting firms in taxation roles.
He has degrees in Accounting & Finance and Law, is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, and has been admitted to the High Court in New Zealand. Mr Hemmingsen also has a Diploma of Management and is qualified to give advice on superannuation under ASIC’s RG146. He is the treasurer for the Local Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
