Dawn Clements has more than 30 years of experience in the education sector. She obtained a Masters Degree from the University of Western Australia in Educational Management, and her thesis was centred on building an achievement culture. Before joining Lake Joondalup Baptist College in 2011, Mrs Clements was deputy head of curriculum and learning for 5 years at St Stephen’s School in Duncraig, Western Australia and also worked at the St Stephen’s Carramar campus for 2 years as the foundation head of English. Mrs Clements also has experience working in the single sex girls’ school of Santa Maria, the independent co-educational school of All Saints’ College where she was a member of the leadership team during the 1990s, as a teacher at Willetton Senior High School and as an examinations marker for the curriculum authority in Western Australia. In addition, she also served for 3 years as a school representative member of the Education and Training advisory group for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia.
