David Yates

David Yates is experienced in advising clients operating in the key Australian industries of energy and resources, mining services and technology, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services. Mr Yates is a litigator and has acted for clients in a range of court proceedings and other dispute resolution forums in New South Wales and Western Australia including contract disputes, corporations and shareholder actions, and intellectual property infringement claims. He also acts for the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission in competition and regulatory matters. Mr Yates also supports clients with commercial transaction and advisory services in connection with technology acquisition and licensing, technology and intellectual property due diligence and analysis, and intellectual property protection and commercialisation.
