David Porter began his career in civil engineering in 1973 and has since gained a wealth of experience across every facet of civil engineering and building projects. He coordinated multiple major land developments throughout Perth and its surrounds, and has played a primary role in some of Western Australia’s largest regional planning studies in Rockingham, Bunbury, Kwinana, the Avon Arc, Geraldton and Manjimup. He has also coordinated the WA civil engineering services for regional and district shopping centre developments. Mr Porter holds a Diploma of Civil Engineering, Associateship of Civil Engineering, Graduate Diploma of Engineering, Graduate Diploma of Business, a Municipal Engineers Certificate, is a registered Chartered Professional Engineer, is on the National Professional Engineers Register (NPER), and an accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia, member of the Australian Water Association and the Australian Institute of Project Management, trustee of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Western Australia Foundation, and past chair and life member of Consult Australia.
