David Newton

David Newton is the founding director of Westminster Broking House and a national board director of the National Insurance Brokers Association. Mr Newton has worked in the insurance industry for over 41 years, including 39 years as an insurance broker. He is experienced in all facets of insurance and has worked with a host of major clients who represent a whole spectrum of commercial and corporate activities. Mr Newton specialises in the business sectors of mining, industrial and biotechnology for public and private corporations throughout Australia and overseas. He is also a Qualified Practising Insurance broker, winner of the NIBA Lex McKeown trophy, Commissioner for Declarations, and obtained his Insurance Broking Diploma under the Financial Services Reform Act.
