David Marsh has extensive experience in construction and engineering law, professional liability, contract mining, administrative law, arbitrations, joint ventures, occupational health & safety, and resources project development. His work in these areas has covered many significant and diverse matters within Australia and overseas. In acting on the Murrin Murrin arbitration from 2000 to 2004, Mr Marsh was involved in one of the biggest disputes ever conducted in Australia. His clients included major engineering and construction contractors, major Australian mining companies, defence contractors, insurance companies and government bodies. Mr Marsh has also appeared as counsel in all Western Australian courts, the Federal Court, and in a number of domestic and international arbitrations. He has also managed litigation in the High Court of England and Wales. He holds a Professional Certificate in Arbitration from the University of Adelaide, was the State President of the Western Australian Branch of AMPLA Ltd from 2008 to 2011, and President of AMPLA for the year 2014/2015. Mr Marsh was admitted in 1995.
