David Knox is a business leader with senior leadership, engineering and public markets experience in multinational, domestic and Commonwealth companies.
Mr Knox was the managing director and chief executive of Australian Naval Infrastructure, and the managing director & chief executive of Santos from March 2008 through to his retirement in December 2015.
Mr Knox is chair of Snowy Hydro and The Australian Centre for Social Innovation; and a board member of CSIRO, Redflow, Migration Council of Australia, Adelaide Festival and the Royal Institution of Australia.
Originally from Scotland, Mr Knox holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. He is a Fellow of ATSE and FIE Aust, and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
