David Hunter
Acting Chief Racing Officer / Racing and Wagering Western Australia
David Hunter has been with Racing and Wagering Western Australia since August 2004, initially as manager of thoroughbred racing before becoming commercial racing and planning manager in June 2017, head of racing operations in December 2021, and acting chief racing officer in July 2022.
Prior to that, he spent 5 years as executive officer of the Western Australian Turf Club, and was a consultant of IT Vision which provides accounting support to local government and port authority customers across Western Australian and South Australia.
Mr Hunter holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University.
