David Haslingden was previously the chair and non-executive director of Nine Entertainment. He owns and operates a network of television production companies in Australia and overseas including Natural History New Zealand and Keshet Australia. He is also a director of US charity WildAid, having been chair for the 8 years prior to 2015. Previously, Mr Haslingden was president and chief operating officer of Fox Networks Group and chief executive of Fox International Channels. He also served as chief executive of the National Geographic Channels business. Mr Haslingden sat on a number of industry boards in the United States including the National Cable and Telecommunications Association. He holds a BA and LLB from Sydney University and a LLM from the University of Cambridge.
