David Gulland

David Gulland is an architect and principal of HASSELL and is responsible for the development of education architecture in the company's Perth studio. He is also the South East Asia representative for the HASSELL education and science group.

Mr Gulland specialises in the design and delivery of learning environments that respond to their site, context and community. He is the principal in-charge of the AUS$50m Balcatta Senior High School upgrade project and the AUS$80m EZONE UWA project for the University of Western Australia. He was the architectural state advisor to the AUS$370m WA Schools PPP project and has led a large number of secondary education projects. Recent key projects include the AIA (WA) 2017 George Temple Poole Award and Hillson Beasley Award for Educational Architecture winning Willetton Senior High School. Other award-winning projects include MacKillop Catholic College (Darwin) and Dalyellup College.

Mr Gulland was a design team leader on the A$2 billion Fiona Stanley Hospital Project and has over 20 years of experience with HASSELL across a range of project types.
