Darren Pratt

Darren Pratt is a lawyer advising on all aspects of intellectual property including copyright, trademarks, plant breeder’s rights, passing-off, and confidential information. He has appeared in numerous Courts and Tribunals including the High, Full Federal, Federal Magistrates Courts; State Courts of Appeal and Supreme Courts, Administrative Appeals Tribunal (Cth), State Administrative Tribunal (WA), Guardianship and Administration Board (WA), Fisheries Objections Tribunal (WA) and Building Disputes Tribunal (WA). He also appears at arbitrations and mediations. Mr Pratt has significant expertise in relation to the Trade Practices Act (TPA) and Competition and Consumer Act (CCA). He has worked for and against the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) in numerous Federal Court actions for breaches of the consumer protection provisions of the TPA/CCA.
