Dan Volaric

Dan Volaric has extensive experience in public sector management, integrity, governance, corporate services and human resource management.

He has been the executive director of integrity and risk at the Public Sector Commission since May 2019, with responsibility for strategy and advice on sector integrity and performance. He had previously held the roles of executive director of strategic initiatives & liaison and deputy commissioner.

Mr Volaric was also a member of the executive of several agencies, as part of the commission’s advice and support role, including acting as director general of then Department of Environmental Regulation where he assisted with the department's change program as well as led its people, organisational development and governance functions. He was also at the Department of Health assisting with the new governance reform following the introduction of the Health Services Act 2016 and with the "System Manager" obligations which the Act places on the director general and Department.

Mr Volaric has a Diploma of Business Administration, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
