Dr Courtenay Harris is the deputy head of the School of Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Speech Pathology at Curtin University. She is involved in teaching and learning, and research which has involved musculoskeletal issues associated with children's use of information technology, the use of e-learning activities for effective teaching and assessment marking, use of technology to enable people with disabilities to engage in everyday occupations, and evaluation of assistive technology services.
Dr Harris was an occupational therapist in all states of Australia and the USA. Her areas of interest include child health, occupational health, ergonomics, professional practice/leadership and management, and research.
