Colin Heitman

Colin Heitman joined Alltype Engineering Services in 1988 as an estimator and project manager, progressing to the role of managing director in 1997 which he held for 20 years. As the company continued to grow and expand, Mr Heitman stepped into the role of chief operating officer in 2017 and was responsible for project delivery and workshop operations. He is also owner of the company. Mr Heitman is a trade-qualified boilermaker welder with his apprenticeship undertaken at Steel Mains, providing him with extensive exposure to MSCL fittings and pressure vessel fabrication. He completed his trade in 1982 and immediately began supervision of heavy steel fabrication of pressure vessels and high pressure pipework.
