Clive Newall

Co-Founder, President, Director / First Quantum Minerals

Clive Newall graduated from the Royal School of Mines at Imperial College, England in 1971 with an honours degree in Mining Geology and was awarded an MBA from the Scottish Business School at Strathclyde University. He has worked in mining and exploration throughout his career, having held senior management positions with Amax Exploration and the Robertson Group. Mr Newall is a co-founder, and has been president and director, of First Quantum Minerals since its startup in 1996. He is also a non-executive director of Gemfields and Baker Steel Resource Trust.
