Christopher Kohne is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years of experience in a diverse range of roles including in finance, commercial, business development and strategy advice to businesses operating within Australia and the US.
Mr Kohne started his career at KPMG before joining Hess Corporation, a large US independent company operating in the energy sector where he spent 10 years in various corporate roles, including five years in New York working closely with the CEO and CFO on strategy and planning. Mr Kohne then joined Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy and Fertilisers as its business development principal before becoming chief financial officer of Talon Energy in November 2022.
Mr Kohne holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia, and a Master of Science in Energy Economics from Curtin University.
