Ms Heek is Managing Partner at Bio Point Group, LLC, a US-based life sciences consulting group. She currently serves as a director of Concert Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a biotechnology company and previously sat on the board of Affymax, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, from 2007-2014. From 1991 to 2003, she held various positions at Genzyme Corporation, a biotechnology company acquired by Sanofi S.A., including Officer and President of the Therapeutics Division; General Manager of the Renal Division; and Vice President of Global Marketing. While at Genzyme,she built and managed the worldwide commercial organisation for the Therapeutics and Renal Divisions, and led the launches of five global products. She is a member of Risk committee.
