Christian Heili is a highly experienced mining engineer with more than 30 years of experience in business, project management and wide-ranging operations including underground and beneficiation processes within the mining industry. He also has experience with a diverse range of commodities and has worked internationally with previous roles including as overall project manager of Katanga Mining and Kinross Forrest in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, De Beers in South Africa, AngloGold Ashanti in Mali; mine manager of Mopani Copper Mines; production manager of African Associated Mines; Anglo American Corp; VAAL Reefs Exploration and Mining Co. Mr Heili had responsibilities over a large workforce and his experience extends to training and mentoring. Austrian-born Mr Heili is fluent in English and German, has an MSc (Eng) from Montan University of Leoben in Austria, and an MBA from Henley Management College, UK.
