FOUR of Australia’s five largest cooperatives are based in Western Australia, with the industry contributing more than $6 billion to the local economy, according to new research.
Chris Enright, chairman of the Mt Barker Co-operative, has been elected as chairman of Co-operatives WA, the peak representative body for the co-operative movement in Western Australia.
