Chris Ashton has been with Worley since 1998 and has held a number of senior operational, sales and strategy roles in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the US. He was chief operating officer from November 2018, responsible for strategy and planning of the business. Prior to that, he was accountable for the growth and performance of the major projects and integrated solutions portfolio across the organisation which included its fabrication businesses, WorleyCord and Worley Rosenberg, and Global Delivery Centre. In February 2020, Mr Ashton moves to Australia following his appointment as its chief executive. Mr Ashton joined Worley after more than 15 years in senior engineering and operational roles with international organisations. He holds a Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Sunderland, a Master in Business Administration from Cranfield School of Management, and has completed the Executive Management Program at Harvard Business School.
