Charlotte Mills oversaw Racing and Wagering WA’s racing marketing & communications division which comprises of the racing marketing, corporate communications and TABradio teams. The division is responsible for managing corporate communications, promoting wagering through our media assets and developing and implementing racing marketing plans aimed at increasing on course attendance, animal ownership and repositioning the brand of racing, which will require strong stakeholder engagement across the racing industry. Ms Mills joined Racing and Wagering WA in 2008 as manager, racing strategy. She was subsequently promoted to manager of communications and marketing in 2013, executive manager in 2015, general manager of racing in 2017, and was chief racing officer to May 2022 when she moved back to her home state of Victoria and join the Moonee Valley Racing Club team.
