Mr Chen founded Orient Zirconic in 1995 and has built the company into a leading company in the zirconium industry. He served as President and Chairman of the company until mid-2013 when China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) became the largest shareholder in Orient Zirconic. He became the Chairman of Murray Zircon when the company was founded in 2011 as a result of Orient Zirconic's first investment in mining in Australia. Mr Chen is the Vice President of China non-ferrous metals industry association titanium zirconium & Hafnium Branch.
