Managing Director / JB Hi-Fi

Cameron Trainor has been the managing director of JB Hi-Fi since October 2016, having joined the business in November 2009 as merchandise director. Between August 2018 and July 2019, he was managing director of group merchandise, a short term appointment to assist the group to leverage its buying scale and processes across both JB Hi Fi and The Good Guys.

Prior to JB Hi-Fi, Mr Trainor spent 29 years with the Coles Group where he held senior roles in store operations and merchandise buying, including leading the grocery and fresh foods buying teams.

Mr Trainor is a director of Narta International, Australia’s largest buying and retail services company.

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
