Professor Robert Graham received his medical training at the University of New South Wales, Australia, where he is now the Des Renford Professor of Medicine, (UNSW).
He was been the inaugural executive director of Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute from 1994 to 2020 and continues as head of molecular cardiology and biophysics division, and as Des Renford Professor of Medicine at the University of NSW. Dr Graham returned to Australia in 1994 after 17 years working in the US at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Dallas; the Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School; the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
