Bill Weir

Bill Weir established PDC (formerly Perth Drafting) in 1972 to provide a professional, independent drafting service in Perth for fabricators and engineers. Mr Weir has extensive project management experience in the resources industry, including the oil and gas, mineral sands, iron ore, gold and nickel sectors.
He has worked on many of Australia's major drafting projects including the North Rankin A Platform for Woodside Energy and the Hot Briquetted Iron Plant for BHP Billiton.
Bill is involved in negotiating and securing major projects and oversees the day to day operation of PDC to ensure that its quality and management systems are maintained and its high standard of service upheld. Bill often sits on project control committees along with representatives of the engineering consultant, fabricator and client.
