Bill Turner

Bill Turner AO is a geologist with over 35 years of international experience in the mining industry. He is a former president & chief executive of Anvil Mining, a company founded in 1993 and acquired in 2012 by Minmetals Resources. Mr Turner is also a founding director of the Australia-Africa Minerals & Energy Group (‘AAMEG’) and was its chair from 2011 to February 2016. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Mr Turner holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology and Mineralogy) from Queensland University, a Master of Science from James Cook University, and an MBA from Monash University.
