Benjamin Adamson specialises in the area of dispute resolution within the shipping and construction sectors. He has dual qualifications in Engineering and Law. Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Mr Adamson spent 10 years as a naval architect and marine warranty surveyor. He began his career at a shipbuilder and went on to act in a technical capacity on behalf of marine and offshore underwriters for a number of Australian resource projects. Mr Adamson has performed a wide range of specialised surveys on various vessels and technical review of marine transportation and offshore installation. His experience also includes acting on behalf of offshore vessel charterers and owners as an accredited Offshore Vessel Inspection Database (OVID) surveyor. He has experience with London and WA-based arbitration arising from construction and shipping disputes on major Australian gas and resource projects, as well as defence of Supreme Court actions. Mr Adamson is admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
