Barbara Scott
Barbara Scott is a former WA state politician. She retired from the WA State Parliament in May 2009, after serving as a Member of the Legislative Council for 16 years, representing the South Metropolitan region. Ms Scott was a former teacher and a founding member of the Meerilinga Young Children's Foundation and president of the Community Kindergartens Association. Ms Scott is currently president of the Friends of Ngala, and deputy chairman of its board. She is on the executive committee of the Australian Family Association, is a trustee of the May Gibbs Foundation, and patron of Kalparrin and the Pineview Kindergarten in Coolbellup.
