Andrew Wilson holds experience across the mining industry.

He first began with Rio Tinto in 2004 as a Technical Services Superintendent. Since this time he has held roles across the company.

In 2024 after 3 years where he was based in Mongolia, Mr Wilson returned to Rio Tinto as the Head of Safe Production System. He became the Managing Director of the Pilbara Mines for Rio Tinto in December 2025.
