Andrew Roberts

Andrew Roberts commenced working in Multiplex family business, founded by his father John Roberts, after graduating from university. He worked in a number of roles, in various regions, over two decades with Multiplex - initially as a Project Manager, then Business Development Manager, General Manager and State Director, Deputy Managing Director, and finally as CEO for a number of years until February 2007 when the Multiplex Group became subject to a takeover by the multinational property and infrastructure group, Brookfield Asset Management, Inc. Andrew played a key role in the transformation of Multiplex from a construction contractor to a broadly based property group with operations spanning property development and investment, facilities management, and property funds management. By implementing the strategy that Andrew developed and led, Multiplex grew from a construction contractor performing contracts only for third party clients, to a large multi-national integrated property business. Aside from Andrew’s executive roles at Multiplex, he has served on a number of charitable and government boards. Prior roles include directorships of The Australian Museum, Children’s Cancer Institute, the University of WA and University of NSW business schools. Andrew currently manages his family investment office RF Capital. The family holds and is actively seeking investments in commercial property, listed equities, private equity, and resources.
