Andrew Gay joined Ashurst as a lawyer in 2008. He specialises in real estate, native title and cultural heritage matters arising from major resources, utilities and infrastructure projects and transactions. Mr Gay advises on tenure strategies, land acquisitions & divestments, development projects and leasing matters, native title litigation, native title and cultural heritage agreement making. He appears for corporate respondent party clients in native title claims proceedings, and has negotiated some of Australia's largest and most comprehensive native title and Aboriginal heritage agreements. He also regularly appears for clients in native title-related litigation in the Federal Court.
