Andrew Davies is a family law professional with more than four decades of experience. As an Accredited Family Law Specialist, accredited mediator, and accredited specialist arbitrator, he has developed credentials in assisting clients with their family law matters.
Mr Davies earned a Bachelor of Jurisprudence and Laws from the University of Western Australia. He is duly admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
With a focus on property settlements, financial agreements, and international family law, Mr Davies provides his expertise to clients across various countries outside of Australia, including New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, South Africa, the UK, and the USA.
In recent years, his knowledge has expanded to encompass modern aspects of family law, including digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
Mediation and family law arbitration are also Mr Davies' specialties. He is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) with the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department.
Mr Davies is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) and has previously held executive positions within the organisation. He has also chaired the Family Law & Family Rights Section of LAWASIA and has previously served as chair of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM).
He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), where he has served on the executive committee of the Western Australia Chapter.
