Allison Fillery

Allison Fillery is a long-term member and board member of HelpingMinds. She brings to the organisation a wealth of knowledge based upon her aboriginality and life experiences, particularly as a carer. Ms Fillery qualified as a Youth Forensic Mental Health Practitioner at the Charles Sturt University, the first Australian to receive that qualification, and has been an Aboriginal Mental Health Worker with the Aboriginal Mental Health Service. She continues to be active in the mental health sector, both nationally and internationally, and has participated in conferences, committees and workshops to raise the views and needs of Aboriginal people and carers.
