Alicia Eastman

Alicia Eastman was the managing director of Asia Pacific Capital, an asset manager with several private equity funds invested and under management. She was responsible for fundraising, investment, portfolio management and exits for Asia Pacific Capital Fund II, sponsored by BNP Paribas and a consortium of Asian institutional investors. She was also a director of the Mongolia Opportunities Fund and was responsible for leading investment due diligence on behalf of the Fund’s investors including IFC, EBRD, FMO, DEG, Mitsubishi, and ORIX. Ms Eastman has over 20 years experience investing in Asia with particular emphasis on India, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. She had led global strategy and investment at US$11B Elan Pharmaceuticals and was vice president of Prudential Asia Infrastructure Mezzanine Capital Fund (now Franklin Templeton) where she focused on infrastructure, technology, and energy investments in Asia. Ms Eastman founded NetFuel Ventures (acquired by the University of Chicago) and held international strategy and investment positions at Cap Gemini Ernst and Young, Lend Lease, and AirTouch International Asian Operations (Vodafone). She graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Fletcher School at Tufts University. Ms Eastman is a trustee of Prospero, identifying and sourcing donations for grassroots charities worldwide.
