Alexis George has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry.
Ms George was the deputy chief executive of ANZ since May 2018 until her appointment as chief executive of AMP in August 2021.
Prior to ANZ, she had spent ten years with ING Group in a number of senior roles including as chief executive for Czech Republic and Slovakia responsible for banking, insurance and funds management, and regional chief operating officer for Asia responsible for product, marketing, technology and operations.
Ms George is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a member of Chief Executive Women.
