Adam Tomison

Adam Tomison was appointed director general of the Department of the Attorney General in 2016 for a five year term. An expert in family violence, Dr Tomison has worked as a consultant to the child protection and justice sector, and served a six-year term as director and chief executive of the Australian Institute of Criminology ending in July 2015. Prior to that he spent four years serving in various senior roles the Northern Territory Department of Health and Families, including director, NT family and children’s services.
