Abra DeKlerk

Abra DeKlerk is the Board Member of Committee for Perth. Abra is AECOM’s Director, Western Australia overseeing operations in the region and he is focussed on building strategic alliance relationships. Prior to taking up this position, he was the Operations Director and previously the Transport Group Leader for Western and Central Australia. Abra has strong leadership and client relationship building skills, which he has developed through an extensive career of delivering a multitude of multi-disciplinary and partnership projects. With more than 25 years specialist experience in various aspects of transportation and infrastructure planning and design, he has a wealth of Australian and international experience and has been heavily involved in large scale transport infrastructure projects, spanning Municipal, State and Federal responsibilities. Abra is currently on the Board of the Gateway WA Alliance and also a committee member of the Lean Construction Institute of Australasia.
